In the early hours of Saturday morning on the 19th of November 2016 our motley crew gathered at AutoOne in preparation for the 27th annual Kerikeri Half Marathon.
After many laborious hours of training; some of our finest athletes here at AutoOne competed in the 21.1km Half Marathon over the weekend and we emerged victorious with a team time of 12.01.40!
Yes, it’s true… Bay of Islands AutoOne are now the proud recipients of the The Kerikeri Half Marathon Fullers Team Trophy.
We are proud of our 10 participants (Justin, Nicola, Dave, Ben, Mike, Karl, Tim, Emma, Michelle, Amy) who represent us well.
We would just like to comment on how well the event was organised and run. The ASB Kerikeri Half Marathon team did and amazing job with dancing sunflowers and incredible drummers cheering you on the who way along.
We are proud to be part of an event that supports the Cancer Society.
Now the training begins for next year…
